Directions

1Add the soy sauce, honey, vinegar, sherry, sugar, ginger and garlic in a bowl and mix together well, mix thoroughly until smooth.

2Put the chicken wings in a shallow dish and pour the honey marinade over the top.

3Lubricate the marinade over wings then cover and leave in a cool place for marinating 2 hour.

4While the wings marinating are making the sauce.

5Fry the onion in the oil for about 5 minutes until golden brown.

6Stir in sugar, lime juice and peanut butter, and add the coconut milk little by little.

7Add the salt and cook over low heat until smooth. Then put aside.

8Remove the chicken wings from the marinade and place on a rack in a roasting tin.

9Cook in preheated oven at 190C for 15-20 minutes, until crisp and golden brown and cooked.

10Baste occasionally with any remaining marinade.

11As an alternative, grill in 5-7 minutes per side.

12Serve with warm peanut sauce.

3 tablespoons soy sauce

4 tablespoons liquid honey

2 tablespoons vinegar

1 tablespoon sherry

2 teaspoons brown sugar

½ teaspoon ground ginger

1 clove of garlic, squeezed

12 kippenvleugels, getrimd

For the dipping sauce:

2 tablespoons grated onion

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon lemon juice

2 tablespoons peanut cream

6 tablespoons of coconut

Pinch of salt
