Polenta with other things

1Place the liquid, water or broth in a pot and cook.

2Then add the corn flour little by little over the boiling broth, with a whisk constantly beaten in the pot.

3Repeat this procedure to prevent it forming lumps, until all the flour into the pot.

4Put the whisk away and take a wooden spoon and turn the heat down a little and stir.

5Allow about 20 of 30 minutes before cooking to be done.

6Add the butter and grated cheese.

7Stir and add milk.

8Serve warm with lots of stewed lamb or chicken on top.


18 cups water or chicken or beef

6 cups cornstarch

Milk to taste

4 tablespoons butter

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt to taste
