Bunuelos Cheese

1Add milk, two egg yolks and salt in a mixing bowl.

2Beat these ingredients until they are fully mixed with each other.

3Add the flour little by little to the mixture while beating.

4Remove any lumps and keep adding flour until you have a consistency similar to peanut butter dikek.

5Whipping of two proteins until they "soft peaks" to have.

6Fold the egg whites with the flour mixture.

7Spoon the cheese into the mixture.

8Heat the olive oil over high heat.

9Once warm, add a spoonful of the mixture into the oil and fry about 90 seconds on each side, or until golden brown, the Buñuelo.

10Remove from pan and put on a paper towel to absorb the extra oil.

11Warm server!


just about 1 cup flour

1 / 3 cup cold milk

2 Owner (separated into yolks and whites)

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup grated Emmental cheese (or aged Manchego or Asiago)

1 / 4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1-2 cups olive oil for frying
