Wires beef with sauce

1Clean the meat of excess fat, cut into pieces and put in enough water for cooking.

2If it is soft, Remove from the water and place it on a table or tray.

3We are going to stretch the meat from each other and crushing with a hammer wood or stone, and in separating the fine wires with the help of the hands.

4In addition, we prepare a sauce with annatto oil, onion and garlic.

5This we cook until it becomes transparent.

6Add the peppers and finally the tomatoes.

7This sauce we do in the water along with the shredded beef, and season with salt, pepper and cumin.

8Put the meat on low heat, cook until the stew is tender.

9Let it dry a bit.


1 kg of pork

1 ui, grated or chopped

6 plum tomatoes (preferably peeled and pitted), mince

1 ripe peppers into strips or chopped

2 up to 3 peppers, seeded and minced

2 cloves of garlic, ground beef

3 tablespoons annatto oil (or ordinary oil)

Salt, pepper and cumin to taste

Optional: a spoonful of tomato paste (it will give more texture to the stew)
