Directions

1Combine the red wine, salt and rosemary in a small bowl.

2Allow to stand at room temperature for 2 up to 3 hour.

3Heat a large griddle or cast iron skillet over high heat.

4Place the steaks on the hot pan, and cook for about 8 minutes per side, or to the desired degree of doneness.

5The internal temperature should be at least 62 degrees C.

6Pour the wine mixture over it and let it boil for a minute.

7Serve steaks with sauce on a deep dish.

Ingredients

1 cup red wine

1 teaspoon salt

1 sprig of fresh rosemary

4 New York strip steaks, cut 1 inch thick
